Sources of energy in electrical and heat seems to have created most of the amino strands along with sources of other strands that were not earth created here that allowed the firsts cell to come together something we have known for century or so. That random chain of those were created by molecules missing an end termination chemical that along with spin of earth and magnetism created more parts to the cell's formation.

Seems that we are stuck in free and open source become to the same end. Of course, that means a programmer creation and maintenance person for the forum and websites interfaces to Mars Society is a firm requirement.
Good luck with your decisions to continue onward as the research is how to gain skills we do not have.

I did download a copy to investigate it but need time and a plan to get it installed on another computer or drive partician for my use.

How can I download an entire (active) phpbb forum?

The Falcon 9 heavy can already lift 63 mT to orbit and then some and does it quite well. So, what would a modified version of the of this rocket take to get it to the moon for a second stage change.

I got to wonder if Space x has been launch with dead weight mass to compensate for all of the crew's resources that still must be designed and put into practice. To say nothing of the resource to keep the crew alive for the duration of supposed use.

It probably a great ship for other uses just not to leave orbit due to all of the refueling requirements to use it.

Adding catchcha to a site does not stop non-human from getting by this as it is just advanced programing that now is free from AI.

Part of the new member requires an initial email link to be able to activate the username for an automated system and by shutting down this we stopped hacking garbage from piling up. AS computers can also defeat this path to username creation these days.

This site did have anti spamming and other but even these got defeated in the past on this forum as it resulted in 2005 and in 2008 to crash the site. Other sites also did this to stop hacking as well ending with sites hacked and losing control or having them crash as well. Mardrive and Red colony no longer exit due to this happening, and I am wondering if the same has happened to James old site Mars News that has a link at the top of the page.

The email domain blacklisting will not change much as they will just go and get one that is not from Gmail or Russia or other so as to bypass this blocking method.

Not requiring a username to view seems to be working so setting up a different ability to post really does not change for the means to block once granting any means to post means a verify for the untrusted user to have a board read a post before allowing it. This was tried for a period of time, but it became too time consuming to make it enjoyable as a user for that person as they were not paid to perform this level of screening.

item 6 and 7 seem to be about the best we can do with volunteers running the site.

Here is what I get when I try to enter the command line

Testing UpdateEdited Version 3
Post ID is: 80880
Before update, Edited for Post ID 80880: NULL
Post ID 80880 Edited updated successfully.
After update, Edited for Post ID 80880: 1

it does not allow for data to be changed from what I see for an edit of earlier entry.

Home page for newmars.xom

I also noticed that the link at the top of the page for the MarsNews website is going to something that is not that site. I wonder if James Burk has given up his site or something else has happened due to hacking...

I was too wide of the zone in NH but it did dim from the very bright day to more like evening.

Researchers use nitrogen-based compounds as new high-performance energy storage materials

BB1kag12.img?w=768&h=392&m=6

High-energy density materials (HEDMs) Nitrogen-bearing compounds are among the most effective choices for HEDMs. Nitrogen's ability to form various stable and energetically favorable bonds of different order, single N-N, double N=N, or triple N≡N, allows for the synthesis of a wide range of compounds with tailored properties.

A catalyst is required to recombined, free hydrogen back to the desired chain. That would interfere with the circulation pf the working fluid.

With no filtering system it would build up a plumbing issue called sludge as the carbon would build up as a solid.
water severs quite well even at those temperatures, but it's got to be nuclear grade pure.
Also, there are other gas combinations that do work well up to those temperatures but suffer the same issues of break down.

I did put up a concept of a much smaller trough hidden inside a voids topic as a decorative shell of a light house. Placing it vertically rather than horizontally.

The AZURE virtual machine is a cloud based server and that would take it out of the hands of Mars society control as well as reason to provide funding.

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us

Of course, as a backup that others are to pay for means what is being accomplished is a mirrored server data base that runs a self-updating program that continuously copies data as its logged onto for posts to the backup copy sever. This is usually done with more servers than what it can handle for login under just a single server system.

The kilowatt reactors use molten salt for this reason as it remains stable in the conditions of moon and mars locations.

The towers in New Mexico that converts the reflected sun into energy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_ … t_Facility

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_power_tower

solar furnace is a structure that uses concentrated solar power to produce high temperatures, usually for industry. Parabolic mirrors or heliostats concentrate light (Insolation) onto a focal point. The temperature at the focal point may reach 3,500 °C (6,330 °F)

The rays are focused onto an area the size of a cooking pot and can reach 4,000 °C (7,230 °F), depending on the process installed, for example:

about 1,000 °C (1,830 °F) for metallic receivers producing hot air for the next generation solar towers as it will be tested at the Themis plant with the Pegase project
about 1,400 °C (2,550 °F) to produce hydrogen by cracking methane molecules
up to 2,500 °C (4,530 °F) to test materials for extreme environment such as nuclear reactors or space vehicle atmospheric reentry
up to 3,500 °C (6,330 °F) to produce nanomaterials by solar induced sublimation and controlled cooling, such as carbon nanotubes or zinc nanoparticles

We have a number of topics that have uses for CO2 not just to make new materials for use but also as power sourcing through thermal exchange.

It appears that the WordPress page has either been hacked or the registry of the domain has lapsed.
It was last addressed years ago. Will see if I can find forum information or emails from when Josh cryer and James worked to get the site stable.
