#27 Re: Martian Politics and Economy » Yet another Martian Constitution - An alternative to Euthenia » 2004-04-28 13:36:19

2. No law shall be made prohibitng ownership of  weapons which can be practically used for personal defense. Further, the ownership and carrying of such weapons shall not be subject to permits. All people have the right to keep and bear arms, this is not a collective right, every individual has the right to be armed, this means you. In case of confusion, it means exactly what it says.

Tell me does that include martial arts?

All authority shall be vested in a Supreme Planet Lord. The Supreme Planet Lord shall rule in whatever manner deemed appropriate, so long as it does not violate the provisions of the preceding Articles. See Right 2.

Thank you Mr. Dictator!!!  big_smile

Dear cc:

1. There is no right to a forum for an individual's free speech or expression. No one has to give you broadcast time, no one has to print your writings, no one has to listen to you.

Do you not realize that not having to listen to another person is in the constitution already?

And what is proceation anyway?

#30 Re: Martian Politics and Economy » Selectionism - An Ideology for Martian Settlement » 2004-04-28 13:16:40

I don't like the idea of a parliment because the mrime minister is also a member of that parliment. We should have a presidential government because that way the parlimential powers would not superseed the powers of the president. like wise with the court system.

#31 Re: Martian Politics and Economy » Languages - Parlo Italiano - What langauge should be the Official? » 2004-04-28 12:57:59

yikes No currency will work on mars untill there is a fairly large population on mars. untill then we will have to resourt to bartering. big_smile

Here Here. but why don't we just stick to plain old english most countries already require english to be tought in there schools in addition to there own language. :bars3:

#32 Re: Martian Politics and Economy » Money,Martian currency,whose face on the marsbill? » 2004-04-28 12:50:10

You all realize that until we actualy start a large scale society a monitary system will be quite unnessairy(?) because the  to be honest the people on mars will be bartering because even though you may have all the gold in the world it wont really be worth that much. sad

#33 Re: Martian Politics and Economy » How would you terraform mars? » 2004-04-28 12:39:08

really big_smile If you use Nutron bombs then you may be able to break some of the remaining hydrogen and nitro gen that is in the rocks on the planet.

#34 Re: Water on Mars » water water every where and nota drop to drink. - Water any one? » 2004-04-02 12:53:18

#35 Re: Human missions » Solar Sail - Solar Sail » 2004-04-02 12:33:11

the great thing with solar sails is that they accererate constantily so that they accelerate at something like 5 mph per second.??? but thta acceleration is constant so thats 5 mph per second compounded dubbled every second.

#36 Re: Space Policy » Glenn Criticizes Bush Space Plan - says direct-to-Mars is the way to go » 2004-04-02 12:24:05

What we need is to quit all the belly aching  !!!
What would really be useful is if the entire world had people that would work together as a team. sure there needs to be compitetion and individual support smile , but we will never  really get to win if we don't work together.

#37 Re: Human missions » Sustained human space exploration - Will it ever become a priority? » 2004-04-02 12:14:51

Funney ha ha ha  big_smile. but what do you mean by "sustanined"
we already have a pseuedosustained space exploration with the iss.

#38 Re: Human missions » Martian Economics - Imports, exports or independence? » 2004-03-20 15:56:55

Mars will have to have both imports and exports because it wont be able to do anything really because the factroies wont be set up very quickily

#42 Re: Martian Politics and Economy » Gold Coins for the ProtoMartian People - (and NO paper money) » 2004-03-20 15:11:48

true true. but how can one tell what is truly vallued on mars besides the obvious, such as air food and water

#43 Re: Martian Politics and Economy » How would you terraform mars? » 2004-03-20 14:45:28

I personally would use all of our factories to produce green house gasses to warm it up.

#44 Re: Terraformation » When should we terraform » 2004-03-20 13:31:12

the reason that mars is not like earth is because it has not techtonic plates so the green house gasses have no way of recycling into the atmosphere. So if you place all of our factories on mars then the cf4s will cause a green houes effect which will warm up mars in less than 50 years and with that warming the water will come out of the ground and possibably cause evolution to restart on mars then it will cause the other gasses like N2 and O2 specifically to come out of the ground as well and make it a verry habitable place.
