#27 Re: Unmanned probes » Civilians flooding NASA with Mars 'discoveries' » 2004-04-02 13:44:39

Sbird
Concetration of Methane on Mars is very very low that even relative few bacteria can produce that amount.
I agree methane on Mars is signifikant findings
but I think many has allready make this conlusion:
If methane can point to life on the Earth that means that methane in Martian atmosphere must point to life.

#28 Re: Unmanned probes » Civilians flooding NASA with Mars 'discoveries' » 2004-04-02 12:43:07

Sbird and others
I swear I will never attack idea of Roman rocky road on Mars.
Life on Mars is holly and nobody can't say anything against it.

Life live on Mars!!!
Life live on Mars for ever!!!

PB:Sbird citat "unusually high methane levels in the Martian atmosphere"
whats normal level?

#29 Re: Unmanned probes » Huygens Probe to Titan » 2004-04-02 12:24:03

Sorry
I made a mistake. I ment Titans lander which is the Huygens probe. Probe is built by ESA and I am concern. Yes Mars Express work fine but to built probe (lander) is much more complicated.ESA has almost no expirience in that field but if NASA has superviser project that look better.

#30 Re: Unmanned probes » Huygens Probe to Titan » 2004-04-02 07:46:27

Nice link.
I am concern that we will not hear anything from cassini because ESA has made cassini. in a light what happened to Beagle I doubt. But maybe some miracle or something.

Hej Shaun!
That about humanface on Mars can read in article above. I know you are not alone.
And here is more hard evidence[http://macworld.co.uk/news/main_news.cfm?NewsID=8325]Apple logo on Mars

Hej Luca!
I choosed my nickname on this forum because I wanted to provoke people like you and others that flooding NASA with Mars 'discoveries'. And you get catched on mine nick.

I can just say  I didn't saw any evidence of primitive life on Mars so far and to put it mildly to start to speak of Roman like civilization on Mars is to early.

I will follow your advice to become a god scientist so I have allready bought a book with heading "Romans roads for dummies" so I am prepered in a case that opportunity sends picture of Julius Caesar.
cool

#33 Re: Unmanned probes » Civilians flooding NASA with Mars 'discoveries' » 2004-04-01 10:22:30

Hej Luca
Thank you for lesson in science especially that nothing is " firm" in science.
We can say that we have many highway on Earth, but we can't say that on Mars.
Because everything in science is hypothetical, according Luca.

#34 Re: Unmanned probes » Civilians flooding NASA with Mars 'discoveries' » 2004-03-31 15:47:02

Hej Luca
Post you made citat off is at same level as your post about ancient roman road on Mars and wheel. Do you mean roman road and wheels on side of crater is scientific approach to Mars debate?

"On one Web site, an outraged writer accused NASA of intentionally running over the bunny with the rover."
I think the rover hit bunny. This is so sad.

#36 Re: Unmanned probes » Civilians flooding NASA with Mars 'discoveries' » 2004-03-31 06:04:47

Forget about ancient traces of water on Mars. There's a little white bunny up there.

And stone tools.

And dinosaur fossils.

Plants, art, even letters of the alphabet.

yes pixel size at that resolution is ca. 0.03mm but one pixel is not enough because one pixel can't contain much information.
you need min. 3 or 4 pixel for se something and som optimum 6-7 pixel. That means  we can se object of minimum size somewhere between 0,1-0,2 mm.Therefore  we can't se microfosile at this resolution but only macrofosile. cool

#39 Re: Unmanned probes » Strange mars "artifacts"? » 2004-03-23 04:50:41

Hej Luca!
Roma street are made of granit (hard stone) and this on Mars are sulfur rich (40%) stone which means very soft stone. On Mars are plenty of granit so I can see logic. Be patient in next crater opportunity is heading for nasa expect to find parts of
"artificial" Mars railroad.  :band:

#40 Re: Unmanned probes » Conlusions from Mars so far! » 2004-03-19 16:32:27

35 1.We can say some places on the earth are dry but we can’t say that on Mars.
2.If Mars once had lakes today must be mud at that place.
3.On the earth light and dark sand can be dry or wet, but on Mars light sand is always dry and dark sand is always wet.
4.We even have trouble identifying fossils on Earth that are older than 3 billion years old despite sophisticated lab techniques but on Mars we only need couple of pictures.

#41 Re: Life on Mars » What if the Mössbauer shows the spheres are Hemati » 2004-03-19 16:07:19

Where hematite is there is a life!!!!!
:bars2:
PS: Maybe no always but on Mars <U>always!

#42 Re: Unmanned probes » Conlusions from Mars so far! » 2004-03-18 05:02:51

1. If something has spheric shape on Earth that can be product of biology but if something has spheric shape on Mars that can only be product of biology.
2. If sand on top has different color then sand on bottom that sand must be wet.
3.If sand is pres together appear to be lighter that sand must contain salt. We know that salt has only white color just look our salt in kitchen.
4.If something  on Mars looks different than stones or sand in our backyard or local beach that must be product of biology.

The US space agency's Mars rovers may work for up to 240 days on the Red Planet, about 150 more than the mission team had originally projected. :band: [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3545747.stm]BBC

#46 Re: Unmanned probes » Strange mars "artifacts"? » 2004-03-02 17:16:58

Citat fra space.com
NASA:
Don't expect any evidence of life to be detected by the current rovers, however. Scientists agree that if life ever existed on Mars, it did not get beyond simple, microbial stages. Remains of such life on Earth are typically detected not as conventional fossils but via mineral or chemical signatures only in very well preserved rock.

"Unless we find a dinosaur bed, we're not going to be able to [find signs of past life] in situ very easily," Craddock said. Instead, samples would need to be returned to an Earth lab for more study, he said.

I don't think any "big news conference" will take places next week. They need more times perhaps 2-6 months more to find out if water(oceans) was there.

Hello cassioli !
I think only person in this forum who can explain "Strange mars "artifacts"" is ERRORIST. You and ERRORIST should create homepage with this heading:
"We (cassioli and ERRORIST) can see things on Mars which never exist on Mars":p
or " Mars for dummies"  :band:
I want give some tribute to your homepage see at bottom center of this image I can see "big fat worm"
