that was artemis shield construction and I can ot tell from the view if this is the 2 or the first that was created. It shows quite a few sensors which I am sure are still in the number 2 due to issues.

Thanks for your follow up on the image you found.
Perhaps we (or someone in NewMars) will find additional information about the heat shields.
GW is keeping watch for any news of the performance of the most recent heat shield. It only had to perform for six minutes, but those six minutes were doozies!

GW Johnson just wrote to say that the hex material you showed us looks about right be we have no idea what that was from!
Please see if you can find out where that came from.
The gun was NOT used for Artemis I or Artemis II, so what was it doing in the picture.
