Re: sp@mmerzzz

It *may* have been an SQL problem, database went down and they reverted. But that's a long shot, someone would've noticed.

Re: sp@mmerzzz

I thought that we had it bad with the sort of typical spam but this takes the cake..

Beware of effective, deceptive Internet 'puppets' Trolls, shrills, also used to seek out users' IDs and email addresses

Beware the Internet's meat puppets a popular marketing ruse is a fictional person that passes as an actual human being online.

I left the post in Intelligent Alien Life because it was just too appropriate.

Re: sp@mmerzzz

Hahaha, Adrian made Intelligent Alien Life specifically for the nutcracks. In the early days of New Mars there was a lot of Hoagland posters here. I dunno why they stopped coming. Maybe because we debunked their nonsense. I remember fondly criticising their whole method to analyse yet again the pyramids on Mars. Was fun back in the day.

This thread in free chat

Bindi Irwin domain buyer gave away domain to the Irwins.
Sydney Morning Herald story just a big beat up.

Has  the feel of Wade the imposter written all over it.

Would others check it out as well...

Cybersquatter trying to self-justify.  Probably just received the letter demanding he surrender the domain.  He has zero chance of winning.

Re: sp@mmerzzz

User Marzio appears to be using the wikipedia as means to promote his site. I think we should delete all his "marketing" links there, and maybe the same on the forum? Maybe even a temporary ban ?

Later edit: I deleted the pages but left one of them, so you mods can see it.

Re: sp@mmerzzz

Heh, I saw it and went WTF? Why did maxie leave that page up, until i read this comment.

Deleteing it, makes no sense, doesn't fit in the wiki, so it goes the way of the dodo...

re: his comments in discussions, best to just ignore his weird ramblings, IMO... Except when he really starts spamming, of course...

Re: sp@mmerzzz

Just some of the many ways Spam morphs into multiple, shifty flavors

Baskin-Robbins isn't the only one with plenty of flavors.

A wide palette of spam and an increase in "bot" networks that deliver them have created a record crush of unsolicited commercial e-mail this year.

Not just for email attacks anymore...

Might as well lump this into the same category
Phishing attacks now using phone calls
