This is quite inspiring.

Please forgive me for intruding. Yes excentric, but he appears to be healthy.
I have tended to like Industrial/Technological society, but I think I do believe that in the times when farming was a major employer, excentric people might find a place for themselves in the old days, instead of perhaps ending up under some form of treatment.
I think that the American School system modeled after Prussian military traditions, may have been necessary for the industrial phase, but It is basically a method of incorporating the female population into a governing structure that dislikes boys and how boys are. The encourages the exploitation and looting of social institutions such as marriage.
If it does turn out that AI and Robots produce abundance for everyone, and if Precision Fermentation and its like also produce abundance, the life style of this person could be encouraged, perhaps enhanced. He does communicate on the internet.
In a world of abundance, doing some disliked tasks occasionally to get some of the means of existence may be suitable to some persons.
Better that then them to be in Jail or Institutionalized.

Is it possible that the root of political science claims is to produce white collar jobs for people who paid for an education and do not want a real job?

This is an interesting matter for North America: Utube, Tesla Semi "SOLD OUT" After Massive New Upgrades!
I think that Europe and Canada are in error to try choking out Ice Carbon containing fuels. America and China have it more correct. Gun the economy so that you can build electric methods.
From what I read, the truck is expected to approach the efficiency of trains. And it is interesting that the truck can recapture energy on the way downhill.
This will weave the East and West Coasts together more than before and it will shrink the cost of going North to the Canadian Border and South to the Mexican border.
Water travel is still the best, I expect, but not by as much as before.

Tried making sun tea: ice tea made in summer sun. One gallon of water through a filter pitcher. 8 bags of black tea. Left outside on the south side of the house. Was going to leave it 4 hours, but forgot, left overnight. After 21 hours, I was afraid it would be too strong and bitter. Here in Canada we drink sweet tea with lemon. Took 2 cups of the tea out, added 1 cup white sugar, and heated in the microwave. Stir until dissolved. Added 1/2 cup lemon juice. It turned out weak. I was afraid it would be too strong, but it's weak.
Perhaps it's just not hot enough. June is cool, overcast and rainy. Didn't rain the day I made sun tea. But today the high is +23°C (73.4°F), overnight low +15°C (59°F). Sunday it's supposed to be +29°C (84.2°F), sun and clouds, mainly sunny. Muggy, humidity varying from 58% to 88%, but that won't affect tea in a sealed jar. I'll try again.

Rob:
Probably too cool to make tea in the sun. Down here in Texas, we rarely attempt that until the temperature exceeds 85 F = 29 C. It only takes a couple o hours to brew at temperatures at or above those levels. It's a chemical rates vs temperature thing. Happens pretty quick when temperatures exceed 100 F = 38 C.
My wife and I make tea for the iced tea application as unsweetened, unflavored tea. It lasts longer without "spoiling", if just tea. By "spoiling", I mean the taste goes bad if you leave it out in the heat too long. Best to bring it in and ice it down as soon as it is brewed.

Trying again. Set it out at 4:00pm at 30°C = 86°F. Now it's 5:40 and 32°C = 89.6°F. One gallon jug looks.like tea, but instructions on the internet set let it steep 4 hours. Partly cloudy so heat from direct sun will not be that much. Tea bags are old too. For a while I was given lots of tea, but I normally drink coffee.

Brought it in close to 5 hours. Again, added 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup lemon juice to 1 gallon of sun tea. Result 4 litres (filled a pair of 2L pop bottles). Better.
