Ezra also asked if Wilders received any international support following his stunning victory.
“Yes of course,” the Dutch leader responded. “Leaders from parliaments, ministers, even some presidents,” Wilders said, adding those he heard from were “happy” and “surprised” about his win. “It was a shock not only in Holland, but certainly in the rest of the European Union as well, and I think that's good.”

Re: U.S. Culture - ...where's it going?

Peter Zeihan reveals just how impartial he really is.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0kwtVbM5o-o

He doesn't like Elon Musk because he won't tow the line on the Left's propaganda and censorship.  He wants the old censored Twitter back.  He also thinks Donald Trump is toast at the next election because he has alienated Rino's and swing voters.  How reliable is that judgement, in light of what he has just said about Musk?  I have some respect for Zeihan as an analyst, but I am beginning to wonder how reliable he is.  Everyone has opinions and prejudices.  One the things I liked about Zeihan was his ability to detach personal feelings and think strategically.  Now I have to wonder how solid that ability is.  How much of what he says is influenced by what he wants to be true or what he is conditioned to believe is true?  I will still watch his stuff.  But I will be taking it with a bigger grain of salt from now on.

I am similar now.  I don't think you get to do what he does without dark shadows giving you some directives as to what you may say.

Re: U.S. Culture - ...where's it going?

I'm an American who lived in Sweden for 5 years — here are the biggest cultural differences between the 2 countries
https://www.businessinsider.com/sweden- … pat-2019-7

EWTN a religion site, faith angles, Christian cultural news brodcasts including Vatican Radio, Headquarters Irondale, Alabama it has 384 stations in the United States and more than 500 stations globally, March 2021, Pope Francis reportedly told the EWTN reporter and cameraman on board a papal flight to Iraq that the network "should stop bad-mouthing me," according to a report in the Jesuit magazine America
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/28/worl … -rift.html
On a 2021 trip to Slovakia, Francis complained in a "meeting with Jesuits" that "a large Catholic television channel that has no hesitation in continually speaking ill of the pope," and that "they are the work of the devil ... I have also said this to some of them."
Other guests include Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, who has called on the pope to resign. EWTN also features a group calling itself "The Papal Posse"—which includes along with Raymond Arroyo, the Rev. Gerald Murray (a New York priest, former U.S. Navy chaplain and canon lawyer), and Robert Royal (a Catholic author who founded the D.C. think tank the Faith and Reason Institute and the blog "The Catholic Thing") — that according to Colleen Dulle of America magazine, "riffs on one another's criticisms of the pope and has given uncritical interviews to anti-Francis guests like Steve Bannon (worked for President Trump), who argued on air that his own populist politics better represent Catholic social teaching than Pope Francis does"
