Re: Space fairing Nations - The ever changing view

Belarus Space Agency was renamed, May 2015 the agency remained as part of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus but changed its name to National Agency for Space Researches. The two Belarusians who have travelled to space are Pyotr Klimuk and Vladimir Kovalyonok. Since the dissolution of the Soviet Union they have worked in Russia. Pyotr Klimuk went on a mission to the Salyut 4 space station, Vladimir Kovalyonok was on Salyut 6 a Soviet orbital space station.
Although there was an attempt for Russia to form a Union of sorts with Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan are making joint efforts to adapt their systems, no formal agreements on cooperation in the development of common Geographic information system are in place

Russia has totally destroyed some of Ukraine's Commercial Aerospace industry since its aggressive expansionist invasion.
The Russians used to launch unmanned Soyuz rockets from the French launch site in S.America. Due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Soyuz launches from the Guiana Space Centre are suspended.

Putin now said he will supply Belarus with missile tech

not sure if Iran plans on putting people in space but perhaps this thread is the best place for the news topic, or maybe the 'Mosques on Mars' thread

The Australian nation has had Mars society active for quite some time now.
It's a good first step for sure.

Indian Sats launched and future homegrown Indian launches coming . India is a parliamentary democratic secular republic in which the president of India is the head of state & first citizen of India and the prime minister of India is the head of government. Elected officials have sucessfully rode a political wave of Populism, Conservatism and also Nationalism identity or Hindutva or Hinduness is the predominant form of Hindu nationalism in India, there are also minor parties of Sikhs, Marxists and Jihad islamists inside India and the Coalition of National Democratic Alliance (NDA)  an Indian big tent political alliance led by the overall conservative rightwing Nationalist, the Coalition party was founded in 1998 and currently controls the government of India. The Indian Human Spaceflight Programme  was initiated in 2007 by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to develop the technology needed to launch crewed orbital spacecraft into low Earth orbit. https://indianexpress.com/article/expla … n-5308964/ In December 2018, the government approved further 100 billion Indian Rupee or US$1.5 billion for a 7-days crewed flight of 2–3 astronauts.Corona virus had an impact and  Gaganyaan launches had been postponed due to impact of COVID-19 pandemic in India,  due to the COVID-19 pandemic training was put on hold in 2020. It has also been reported the French might be involved or invested and CNES is supplying the flight system, and training flight physicians and technical teams for the Indian Human Spaceflight Programme.
