Who cares about the UN, I dont. Why do we need the aproval of other nations to defend our self? If it was up to the UN to defend Isrial they would have been all killed by now.

Arizona state is ten times better than those dank clouddy schools that hardly go to a party every day. At asu we are expected to drink ten beers a day, attend five partys, appear in porngraphic girls gone wild, wet tee shrit contest, go on pantie rads at the freshman girls droom, yes they stand at the top of the 20 story droom and throw their undies down at the boys to whip them into a fury. One to inport He and H would be make a magfield for venus.
But instead of deflecting the solar wind it could be used as a trap. By facing one of the poles towards the sun, the solar wind would be channel into venus atmosphere where it adds to the mass. Magtraps have been prosed for the capure of lost atmosphere from mars, moon, and other small body terraformed atmoshere. It could easly work on venus to add He, from a large area of space. It cheaper than making little ships that suck He from jupitor or the sun.
Also if a sea of co2 was cover with water, any mixing would result in co2 water ice substance that would sink to the bottom. On earth some want to store co2 under the ocean to prevent the gobal warming, it would work on venus too, thanks to the great preasures.

Forget about animal methane production what about people gas?
There like 7 billion people on da earth, all them farting alot , mostly in erd world because they eat beens and rice.
If eah person on earth produces 1 kilogram of methane a year that means people make 7 billion kg of CH3 a year. Much more than cows or sheep do! To save mother earth stop eating beans, the more you eat the more you fart!
As I have alwise thought vegitreans are causing goble warming due to their poor diet of tufood and beans, if they would eat meat they could save the earth but they are too stuck up to do that! :laugh:
In the ocean there are vast areas of methane hydrate ices, if the deep sea warm just a little vast amounts of CH3 would esacpe and cause great warming ina matter of years in the order of 10c goble raise. In the past a large release of methane from the sea help break the back of the last ice age.

I hear that the LBT will be able to detect smaller plantes than neptune, In a few years the first earth massed planet will be discovered. It will in my view almost as important as landing on the moon was. At least to a few folks out their!

It is easy to get thermonukes to jupitor, we send probs to other planets all the time. From what I know about jupitor core is that it is etheir ice and rock or metal and rock different sources give different info, But we do know that near its core that the pressure and heat is so great that it like liqued metal. Big reason for jupitors hug magnetic shield. Geting the nuke down to the core is easy, rember that jupitor made up of gas? We just parashoot it down to the core boundier, we want to set the hydogen ablaze not the rock of the core. Big problem pressure, but nuke are solid so it wont be impolded. Equal pressure pushing back just like here on earth with are air pressure.
What do you think about hitting jupitor with small planets like sedona or pluto? that sould make a lot of heat.

I was thinking about how to terraforming the moons of jupitor ans saturn, Jupitor two large one could be but the be cold artic worlds with out big mirors, titan would be much harder because of the greater distance from sun.
Then I rember that some author made big flash lights by fusion the hydrogen of the gas gaints, the light aim at the moon would warm them. A bit hard, you would need a bid floating platform that would also hae to with stand the heat it creates. Better solution just set the whole big ball of gas ablaze! Now star form when there mass and pressure creat temps high enough for H fussion. The smallest stars re drafts are still 20 or 50 times the mass of jutitor. Since it is inpractical to increase their mass, increase their temps.
    At its core jupitor is very warm but no where near the required temp. to increase the temp hydrogen bombs placed near the core could at like a macth when light papper to get a fire started. A small area would get heated high enough for fusion sense their is fuel all around it, the flame not go out it goes on earth but grow and spread. As the fire spreads in the core  pretty soon the entire core is hot enouh to fussion of hydrogen to helium. Like a star but wit less mass, My guess is that as the heat travel upwards the gas will emit heat at first then red light. As it heat up it will expand a little bite it might eat up io in outer atmosphere.
But the outer moon would be warmed alot. It could work on saturn too.
If using lots of H bombs near the planets core in a sea of metalic hydrogen dont work, another idea of mine is the big hit. When a comet hit jupitor it left a scare the size of the erath, why not use a big impactor to raise the jupitor temp.
Sedena that new planet is large, with the great speed it would get form moving into a lower orbit, and gravity sling shaot from saturn  and neptune. Its speed and there energy would be great. Aimed to hit jupitor head on, the impactor could go straight to the planets core and release a great amount heat, enoughe for fussion to get started. If not enough pluto, or other unknow kepler belt objects could slam into jupitor as many times possible to get what we need.
Is this idea new, I have not hread people talk about before?

I know a lot about plants, reason being I am working on getting a BS in plant science in urban horticulture. As for the types of plants the can stand the moon day/night cycle, their gens can be transferd to other, or as people have done since the stone age, grow plants under increasing long day and night, select the seeds of the plants that do best, and grow again. In a short time plants could be developed that can stand these condictions. Bio tect way would be faster, but nothing  is impossible when it comes to plants!
FYI arid lands, cold and other harsh landsacpes can be very rich in plants in animals, for example Arizona is home to over 10,000 native plants, and thousand of endemics. All life needs is a little water sunsine and good clean air to prosper. Beyond the earth we may have too alter worlds to a great extent to live their but those worlds don't have to be mini earths in every detail. Life will change and become native to it new home and become total different from their ansecters that we brought, all we have to do is provide a home that stay hapital for millions of year so life can change its new home.
Anways I suggest that you go to the desert botanical garden, in the fall or spring and see how strong life can be.
