Nice pictures. I think this event has a good capability to grow big... science-geeks and speed-devil meet and greet kinda thing. Science and engineering becoming 'kewl' again... That kind of stuff.

They are trying to turn it into a 21st century Nascar - something that people plan for and go to every year - and then sell the broadcast rights to raise cash until they can start selling tickets to orbit. Good luck to them!

Heehee, i know, but having (mis-)spent a great deal of my youth near club-stages, I have seen so many moshpits, a good deal of them filled with selfrighteous, arrogant Straight Edgers... And we making fun of them... It just jumped into my mind...
