Re: Interactive Rover - (more horses than Spirit)

Take a spin, jump the rocks...it's only an alpha version so be kind. The Next will be a full Gusev crater version.

Looks mightily impressive,, though I didn't even try to run it (old crappy Mac.)

I always wondered when something like this would be made... I guess your site could become quite popular fast!

Cool, the thing doesn't tell you when you flip iy. I got the rover on one wheel once. It is to bad you can't use any of the science equipment.

Re: Interactive Rover - (more horses than Spirit)

If you drive too far away all the rocks disappear. I think it would be cool if you could turn on a time delay option. A damage meter might be kind of cool. I wonder how much damage a flip would do? I would like to see some creators. Awesome project though!  big_smile

There is a nice creater in the droid one. Too bad he can't run or fall down. That would be funny.

Re: Interactive Rover - (more horses than Spirit)

It would be really cool if you had something like Mario cart except with mars rovers going around rocks and through craters. Then again the game potential is endless with this 3D modeling of the martian landscape.
