I went for my flu jab today with the missus
we arrived at 1215pm at the Health centre - YEP! It's a Saturday and the waiting room was PACKED OUT
we waited for 10 minutes before being called but it wasn't for the jab, it was for another smaller waiting room
ANOTHER 10 minutes, we get called through to an even smaller waiting room - WHAT A PROCESS but then - a total of 25 minutes later finally the jab, a LOT LESS PAINFUL than I was expecting, it was nothing in fact, just a scratch and the nurse said that they were doing 400 every Saturday anybody else getting the jab?
we heard it cost £25 but we were not charged

I have this paranoia that if you get a flue shot then you immune system might be weekend if you don’t get one the following year. For some reason I think getting a little sick helps to strengthen your immune system. If you never get sick then why bother. Then again if I started getting sick a lot I would start to get the flue short. Of maybe I will get it when I am old and think my immune system can’t handle getting sick.
P.S. I thought this discussion was about the political cartoon this land is your land.

Ah but sometimes there is more than one flu going around and since the Health experts look in the spring to see what virus is going around and then plan for the winter it sometimes means you get protection from the wrong Flu.
