  well i am a n00b at asll this BEAM robtics thing and was woundeing if there was any one who could give some pointers like give me a URL to a good web site that explanes it in small words, for me. What i realy need to know is the basics of it all, because most webs sites i can find are eather people showin off what they have done or, FAQ at a realy hight levl.

so if there is any one out there that can help please that would be cool.   tongue

I hope this helps it is not really much but it does give you what BEAM stands for and a list of better places to look. Frankly the BEAM is for creating robots that act like living organisms and can be functional as such

Hi, donk,

Best thing you can do is build one, following the Mark Tilden tutorials...
They're in .pdf format, and quite basic.. Just ignore the tech-talk if it's above your head for the moment.
Try a Trimet, I think it's the most elegant... (Look ma, no wheels!)
Problem might be to find good solar cells...
