Guess what today is? FREE SLURPIE DAY!
Every year for a while now 7-11 has given out 7.11 oz slurpies at stores nationwide (well "participating locations" but yeah). I think I'll hit up a few while I'm out and about today.
HAPPY FREE SLURPIE DAY!

*Not many 7-11's around "these here parts." Slurpies, bah -- I'd rather have a cherry Icee!
But thanks for the heads up on the freebie.

We can only hope that the infrastructure on Mars will ever be established enough to have "planet-wide" free-slurpie days.
I wonder what CO2 ice would be like as a slurpy? Dangerous.

Mmm. Planet-wide slurpie days. That would be awesome. And you wouldn't need refridgerators to keep them cold, just have the slurpie dispenser outside.
Of course, this will require the invention of a space suit straw type thingy, but it could work!

We could engineer bacteria that not only cover the poles in black "dust" to make them partially melt, but to also secrete a cherry flavour. As new pieces begin to break off, we will have ready-to-serve genuine martian slurpies. Flawless.
