I seem to be having trouble with my private messenger.
Messages I am sure I sent do not seem to show up in my sent box and 3 times today I was told a new message was waiting yet none was there.

Very odd Bill, I don't know what could be causing it. I think this happened before though. Ikonboard's forum doesn't really talk about this issue. Have you atttempted to delete any messages from your message list?

Glitch still there. I deleted all older messages (except 4) yet still no go.
Maybe I will re-register as WmWhite or make up a silly name or something. See if that works.

PS - Does Ikonboard allow a listing of comments by one or another member? In other words can I scroll through all of Cobra's comments (for example?)

Hit and miss. I sent a few out that did not make my outbox and 2 messages have arrived in my inbox, except there are more than that forwarded by Ikonboard to my AOL account.

I just experienced this glitch today. I deleted all my messages (some 60 or so). Yeah, yeah, I know, that's a lot of messages. I just like to keep stuff around for prosperity. Most of them were admittedly just friendly comments to people, nothing majorly important though.
So Bill, if you want to try, try deleting all your messages, every last one of them.
On another note, I looked in to seeing if I couldn't change your name (ie, make BWhite Bill White and vice versa- not without asking, of course), but unfortunately that feature isn't available to IkonBoard. PHBBB has such a feature, but yeah.
Just wanted to say that deleting all my messages worked for me.
