*Wow, that's cool. Well, I've long thought there must be a genius occasionally among animals (including birds). And he shows a sense of humor as well - !
Perhaps a bit of an ego, too.
Not quite as spectular, but: A friend of mine knew an old couple who had a parrot; it could repeat phrases and words in both English and Spanish. The old man would say things like "Is dinner ready yet, ma?" and make his dentures chatter in his mouth...the parrot would repeat the words, and make chattering noises to imitate the sound of the dentures. :laugh:
Life would be pretty boring without our furry, scaley, and feathered friends.
