My stance is that Europe and perhaps China are guilty of trying to eat a new emerging civilization.

I think that much of the problem is the island of Britain. England with larger size has grown up with the notion that they can dominate the Eurasia. I think it possible that the line between Eurasia and Euafrica passes across the island at about the border of Scotland. The English have presumed that their pseudo Rome can always dominate the smaller power to the north.
But here in America those who are sensible understand that our continent is approximately divided between the two influences. In our world the need was to be able to bond the two to each other.
For the British and the Club Med the illusion is that they can simply be emperor over the Eurasia. The Anatolian peninsula is not true Asian.

I believe that the Baltics were on the upswing anyway, and it was not particularly useful to antagonize the Russians.

I speculate that best land for crops might be near the sea where perhaps guano for fertilizer might have been available.
Is it possible that a remnant of the old civilization survived somewhere and seeded the later civilizations? Why did they not leave a record if they did?

I agree that the Anglo's are not strictly western. Not Club Med as per the Roman Empire.
I think that the old stone age heritage is very important deep under the surface.
But yes like all Europeans we tend to be a mix of three main ingredients, the pre-farmers, the farmers, and the steppe heritage.
We are not strictly Germanic or Anglo Saxon or Celtic. All of these are partial and largely presumed due to language change-overs.
We do have heritage from the Greeks and Romans, but should not be submissive to their degenerate forms of government such as having an Emporer.

It just happens that at this time I think that they are not too far off.
Here is a theory about history that I have been working on.
To start with I believe that there is a deception about WWII. Perhaps you will remember that Fascism was largely in Germany and Italy, and almost took France, and the British elites and Americans were flirting with it.
The illusion is that it was Germanic peoples who were the leaders in this. It was genius to tell the Germans that they and their features were the superior ones. They had been very stressed between the two world wars, so telling them that they were special was of course welcome. But then that deception allowed the Romanoids to use them as cannon fodder, to attempt to take the Nordics, Near Sloves, and the Far Slovs.
You just don't see the old pattern repeating, but it is. This is a great pity because I think Italy has a lot to offer America. I think the worst instigators are in Brussels though. The line of cities Dublin-London-Brussels-Paris-Rome-Athens-Egypt?

I think the difference between the Ancient Greeks and the Historic and Current Romanoids, is that the Greeks worked almost as well in the Eurasian world as they did in Club Med. Not so much true for the Romanoids.
By rejecting the fundamental aspects of Eurasian characteristics, they make themselves specialists that do very well in a Club Med (Eur-African) setting, but they make themselves alien to Eurasian functionality.
Though the Germans speak a Germanic language they are neutral between these two major aspects. They are not strictly Eurasian. So, they can be used as a pawn by the Romanoids.
America has to some degree adapted to both worlds.
Canada has tried to establish islands of Europeans that can dominate Canada.

Working with China and Russia may be beneficial to try to put the world back into balance.

It is my notion that the Romanoid path always starts with something resembling democracy but ends in dictatorship.
The Ancient Greeks might be a somewhat better model of a balanced culture as they had access to the Black Sea, not just the Euarfrican zones of the Club Med.
But we would hope to be much more modern Greeks. They were just the spark that might light a fire, we are the hearthplace.
The Club Med seems to be like the dog that sees another dog in a reflection in water, and wants that dogs bone, and so opens its mouth and drops its bone into the water.
They just can't deal with the idea that they are not allowed to just take everyone's stuff without negotiations and permissions.
