I think that for the security issues this is just about right for all three major parties of the issue.
Scandinavia and North America apparently have been swapping genes for perhaps 1000 years.
There is native American genes in Iceland, and it is not proven but there is some evidence that the Greenlanders may have made a deposit on the mainland.
I think that this could be just enough and not too much mingling. After all even if NATO goes away, Greenland and the Danes may want some assistance from the USA under some circumstances.

It is important. I was so glad to see that North America and Scandinavia, were able to achieve the beginnings of a mutual accommodation.
You may or may not recall that I mentioned that I am half Swedish, by genetics, and half of that is actually Norwegian.
Although I want North America protected by bases in Greenland, I do not want to see that heritage distorted in it's own land. I feel similar about the Inuit.
I am very pleased that possibly protections can be installed without causing major cultural discomforts. Down the road, I am guessing this may work out very well for the 3 major participants.
Have you noticed that I have not risen to your bait?
