This topic is offered for NewMars members who might like to contribute to a collection of knowledge about carbon nanotubes and their possible applications in delivery of electric current.
At present (2026) carbon nanotubes are not suitable for industrial current carrying applications. However, research is ongoing.
Carbon is an abundant material, and if it could be harnessed for delivery of electric current, it would find application around the Solar System.
