Designing insitu Mars equipment garage
It quickly became apparent that it will be exceedingly difficult to create a garage on Mars using nothing but locally procured materials.
The idea of cutting a Starship in half came up early on, as did the idea of simply importing a prefabricated tarage/hanger/shelter.
This topic is available for NewMars members who might wish to examine existing garage/barn/hanger kits, to see if any are suitable for Mars.
The primary mission of a shelter to be described in this topic is to provide a well lit environment at Mars ambient pressure that is protected from the Mars atmosphere.
If human workers are present they must wear Mars suits.
