The opening link is from CNN, about the observation of the most massive Neutrino ever seen.
This one had the power of a ping pong ball dropped from a distance above the surface in a 1 G gravitational field.
The article at the link below provides details about the observation network under construction at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, and about the observation and it's analysis.

One detail that may be of interest to readers of the article at the link given in Post #1 is that (apparently) Neutrinos are not destroyed by interaction with matter. A valuable addition to this topic would be a link to an explanation of how Neutrinos are able to cause generation of photons of blue light and keep going.
