Air Quality Spacecraft Large Ship Habitat Sensors Monitoring

This topic was inspired (in October of 2024) by an unsolicited ad that popped up when I was trying to follow a link provided by kbd512 about electronics.  This topic is NOT intended to advertise any particular product, but since the topic is inspired by a particular product, I'll provide a link to the vendor site:

https://www.renesas.com/en/products/sen … H62000-A1V

There may well be many vendors offering support for engineers and others responsible for air quality in private and public spaces.

This topic is available for NewMars members to collect links and snippets to knowledge in this specific area.

Air needs to contain oxygen and a neutral gas such as nitrogen, and nothing else.

Since air collects all manner of unwanted molecules when it is in normal use by humans and other living creatures, means of removing the unwanted molecules are  needed, and knowledge about those means is the focus of this topic.
