The forum software (FluxBB) does not support a "like" feature.
What it ** does ** support is a "sticky" feature.
This topic is offered for NewMars members who would like to note a post, or a series of posts, by an author.
A particular author is likely to contribute more than once, so there is no limit to nominations.
If you do decide to call attention to the work of an author, please include a link to the post you liked, or to the first post if the work is a series.
In addition, please say a word or two about why you appreciated that particular contribution.
I'll start things out with the "EducationDoneRight" series by GW Johnson.
To find that series, put the phrase above into the Search tool, and specify GW Johnson as the author.

In a recent new topic, the name of Mars_B4_Moon was given a place of prominence.
The creation of this new topic by a member reacting to the quantity and quality of posts by Mars_B4_Moon is an example for members, who might wish to call attention to other members.
In this case, ** any ** publicity is "good" publicity, because the topic persists after the initial moment of creation.
Congratulations (again) to Mars_B4_Moon for having earned well deserved recognition.

For Void ... this topic was created for the very purpose you suggested!
You are welcome to put your appreciation for Dr. Johnson's work here, in addition to the post you have already provided in the Hopper topic.
I agree with your rating, and hope that folks will read the original presentations that are linked earlier in the topic.

This post is offered in appreciation for the many contributions of OldFart1939.
The post at the link below below reports on a presentation on the life and discoveries of a Nobel Prize winning scientist who discovered Deuterium, and made many other contributions over his lifetime.
