Re: Most users ever online

Ya but really how many were members, that never login but lurk to read what is happening.
There once was a column of data for last login but that is now gone from the user data fields.

Re: Most users ever online

It's spammers. On a given day we get at the bare minimum 200 unique bots attempting to register. Sometimes I go into the spam log and delete 2000-3000 spam registeration attempts.

I cannot even think to imagine how bad it would've got if I didn't update the software.

And I know all you guys' questiona and comments about site functionality, I just haven't had time to get around to it. It's not that hard to do all the stuff that has been mentioned, but I just haven't felt like getting into it. I know it's a poor excuse. hmm

I suck.

Re: Most users ever online

Having to delete 2000-3000 spam registeration attempts must take some time, perhaps you can send the bill to them.

Maybe we can agree on the top priority new function ... one step at a time.
My vote would be for google site search.

Re: Most users ever online

just to give you guys an idea: http://www.newmars.com/josh/spam.png

And it's just a matter of clicking "delete logs" and "delete inactive" so it's not a big of a deal as it used to be!
