Re: An introduction

I was looking around for the new user intro thread/forum, without success. This either means I'm in the right place to say hello in Free Chat or completely blind. I must say this is a fascinating forum and I'm surprised I haven't come across it sooner. But before I post anything, I thought I ought to introduce myself.

My homebase board is over at The Big Red Board (http://www.bigredboard.com), which is a forum about Nebraska football. Otherwise, I shop around a bit for space and Mars related sites and I suppose I've been looking for a home. At any rate, delighted to be here. And if I'm missing that new user intro thread, please feel free to slam me unremittingly.

Re: An introduction

Hi, PhysicsHusker, and welcome!

No worries about posting in the wrong place, there is no proper 'introduce yourself' place here... Never really has been, although occasionally a thread like this gets started.
I still do think it would be a goood thing to have, for the new people AND the old hands; always nice to see someone introducing her/himself, so you know what they're interested in etc...
(veiled request to our dear admins, heh.)

big Red Board,.. Sounds very Mars-like, in a way, almost too good to be a coincidence!

(Mumbles in hoarse, fortune-tellers voice: "The signs are strong in this one")

As Clark uses to say: Enjoy the ride!

Re: An introduction

Hey PhysicsHusker, welcome aboard, I hope you stick around. We get new people every few weeks or so but a lot of 'em don't become regulars. It'd be awesome to have a few new regulars since we lost a couple of them in the past few months. smile

Take care, and enjoy the board.
