*60 years later. His name was Clinton Krotz, killed in action on May 8, 1944. On March 6, 1944 he mailed a letter for home -- parents/family -- for what was to be the final time.
Interesting story of how his sister finally received the letter. Sad, though, that of course their parents never had the chance to see it.
