*Saturday night I took my rocking chair outside. It's a front-porch type of rocking chair: Light in weight, colonial white in color with tie-on sunny yellow cushions with a floral pattern. The night was balmy, stars off to the north-northeast, clouds in the remainder of the sky with lightning to the south-southeast. The moon was obscurred but its light shone through breaks in the clouds. A train passed in the distance (I've always enjoyed the melancholy wail of a train's horn), someone was setting off fireworks (yep) a few blocks away, a gentle breeze stirred. Nice.
Last night I dreamed of blasting off in a Saturn V. That was excellent. I and another gal named Gurdy (that's probably from the Donovan song...) were to be the first women to the Moon. I don't know who got to actually step foot down first. Re-entry was frightening but we arrived back safely. lol...
