Re: Strange question - quite normal from me sometimes!

I found this image from earlier this year, there was a story with it but can not for the life of me find it or any reference to it, I was sure I'd posted it to New Mars but can not locate it, anyone remember it?

Better versions at either...

*I have a rather good memory, but sorry -- I don't recall.  Perhaps you posted the accompanying article in one of the nuclear propulsion threads?  Prometheus?  JIMO?

--Cindy

P.S.:  I combed through 5 or 6 related threads, hoping to catch your previous post.  http://www.isas.jaxa.jp/e/enterp/missio … shtml]This is as close to what you're looking for that I found.  It was posted 10 August 2004 in the "Japan launches solar sail" thread, in the Interplanetary Transportation folder.  Maybe it's linked somehow to the image you are looking for, or will jog your memory.  Good luck.

Re: Strange question - quite normal from me sometimes!

Thanks Cindy, the truth is I can remember writing something to go with it and other than that my minds a blank. I can remember drawing the picture as well, but I can't remember why I drew it. I've got a few more backup cd's to search before I put it down as an unsolved mystery :;):

Makes me think of Rendezvous with Rama for some reason...

And pretty certain too I never saw it before...

Knew them bits, as I drew it, just can't remember if I posted it somewhere (I thought I had).

Babylon5 ?

Don't think so, unless I was influenced by it (though I stopped watching it after the first or second series).

I remember seeing the picture

Was it long ago and on New Mars?

The engine pods, with the rings, I remember.
Maybe 6 months ago ?
Could have been with a New Mars clickable link ?
