They would require some lower-abdomen redefinement for the Zusayan 'Colony'.
Here are a few Zusayan Martian compatable attire:
Mars Attire
(might lead to nudity)

#4 Re: Life support systems » Getting air on Mars » 2005-02-07 22:12:23

We will pump in CO2 Martian atmosphere and seperate the Carbon (for soil) from the Oxygen (which is fed in to the complex or stored for later use).

Also an insulated greenhouse dome (c.f the eden project) for growing acres of plant life for air, some for food and herbal supplements/health - and as a leasure tranquil area.

Sprinklers for recycled-water, and solar-charging heat lamps to help out. Lots of human fertilizer after the methane has been extracted and pressurised as a combustable/burnt as a heat source/water-heater.

A few acres of plants for air will produce one human oxygen requirement. (and also we only need 10% oxygen to survive, and earths air is 20% so this gives time for emergencys.)

Solar-charged light-lamps (with light-sensor) will turn themselves on at night and provide one source/supplemental lighting for the habitat. Similar solar heat-lamps will help out.

Each room and corridor should have at least one pot-plant to help freshen the air (works on earth too).

Fitness exo-armor and jackets is the answer.

A Leather jacket with fleece and fur-lined fitted with hardened plastic plates made to weigh 1.5 human weight making its wearer weigh 2.5 times heavier on Mars (which is the same as you would be on earth).

Some go over space-suits (allowing for lifesuport backpack weight), and others without the fur lining for casual indoors attire.

Also the harded Mars baseball cap weighted to 1.5 human head wieght, which is also a safty device.

Mars trendy ones will need to be devised for teens.
(Like ' I met an alien from earth', and 'Mean Mean Martian Machine' and ofcourse 'Sexy Martian Babe'.)

#6 Re: Civilization and Culture » ProtoMartian Jewelry - Symbolizing the Earth/Mars Opposition » 2005-02-07 19:19:52

Martian jewelry will often be made of iron. A few rubys would make a nice adornment.

#7 Re: Civilization and Culture » North Pole Holiday Considerations - (or...What Will Santa Do?) » 2005-02-07 19:07:30

Martian winter-solstice celebrations will be a time of feasting and merry-making and decorations held at the Martian solstice.

'Christmas' will thus be an optional festival that mirrors Martian solstice 'Marsmas'.

#8 Re: Civilization and Culture » Marsian Status Symbols? » 2005-02-07 18:16:35

multicolored scarab-beetle pets in a self-sustaining enviorment.

That and letting antarctic beetles roam around the surface of mars eating bits of lichen and moss.

Might need a warm-oxygen hose over them.

(These creatures make anti-freeze to stop themselves freezing solid, but there is room for Genetic Modification to make them more Mars compatable)

#9 Re: Civilization and Culture » Wacky contests on Mars » 2005-02-07 18:07:54

Rock Poggin (ye noble art of hurling a rock in the desert)
and... ye annual multiple amorous polymory contest.

#10 Re: Civilization and Culture » Reproductive rights - Society vs. Individual » 2005-02-07 00:14:26

Speaking for one Martian civilisation, 5 year contraception implants will be standard, subject to resources and replacement for demographic enlargement.

(Hay its not our fault)
We wish for your understanding in these matters.

#11 Re: Civilization and Culture » Unbounded Mammaries - Will Martian Women Wear Braziers? » 2005-02-07 00:04:25

Maybe.

Usually nude or bottomless within the Zusayan is the cultural normality.

See through spacesuits are a must to retain cultural integrity.

But some women are just going to need bras even at 38% earth-gravity.

#12 Re: Civilization and Culture » The Zusayan Empire - Here is one Martian civilisation » 2005-02-06 23:58:48

Ok you asked for it,
and here it is - one of the Martian cultures and civilisations:

#13 Re: Martian Politics and Economy » Role of Religion in the Martian frontier » 2005-02-06 23:50:02

With regards to religion, it will be there in the autonomous seperate Zusayan Empire in the form of the polythiestic Hathradon faith which is the official religion of the Zusayan.

You might want to visit the Temples sometime?

#14 Re: Martian Politics and Economy » Nations or World Government on Mars - Nations or World Government? » 2005-02-06 23:36:11

The Zusayan Empire will infiltrate and secretly build a seperate Autonomous Martian Civilisation to live in peace with its neighbours along the Martian Equator. This is an exercise in freedom. This means there will be 'nations' upon Mars in the future, regardless of assumed Global Government. Hopefully this can be done peacefully (if pulled off).

So what is the Zusayan?
Here is a link for any interested as used in Role-play Games:
its realisation is our sacred destiny
