Hello,
there is a "forbidden zone" on Mars accurately avoided by Hirise project. It is a zone full of strange features (photographed by MOC at low res), which resemble vegetation and lakes.  :shock:

Here's a map that explains the situation (dots are pictures taken by Hirise project):
