When or if we get around to terraforming Mars, then maybe the flashes will be in the visible spectrum instead of the ultraviolet... that would be something to see.

*A different article seemed to indicate, though, that if there were currently astronauts on Mars they would see something; pale and undramatic, but a bit of something.
This article says "the glow probably generate(s) only ultraviolet light..."
Not that I'm seeking a debate. I'm just wistfully hoping something would be visible to the human eye, even if ghostly.
