Re: Moon Storms

This is unique: Moon storms

Every lunar morning, when the sun first peeks over the dusty soil of the moon after two weeks of frigid lunar night, a strange storm stirs the surface.

This old Apollo experiment called LEAM, short for Lunar Ejecta and Meteorites was left at our last visit back in 1972.

"It was designed to look for dust kicked up by small meteoroids hitting the moon's surface."

One might wonder how much of a problem this storm might be to the astronauts on the surface?

This dusting would effect solar output from panels unless cleaned.

Re: Moon Storms

considering the stickyness of said dust, I'd not underestimate the pletthora of problems this may cause, sometimes quite insidiously... Stuff working for monts, and then all of a sudden locking up when you least expect it etc...
