Kuiper Belt object

*...shaped like an American football or a cigar or...I dunno, looks like a bullet to me.  Lots of info, including about its moons.

Wonder what other "goodies" are lurking out there in the Kuiper Belt.

Includes animations, charts, etc.  Enjoy.

With all sorts of new information about kepler belt objects, moons and asteroids I wonder if kids in elementary school these days learn more then just about the 9 planets.

*Good question.  I don't have children and only 1 school-aged niece (16) who lives an hour away...so I don't know.  You'd think the textbooks/study materials in this regard would be up to date.  Certainly the models in my school years are long since broken.

Gratefully.  wink  It's wonderful trying to keep up with the veritable slew of info rolling in on a nearly daily basis (as compared to the childhood past of waiting once a month for a magazine...).
