*Mercury is visible *all this week* -- beginning March 9.
On March 11 it'll be close to the crescent Moon.
Can only include 1 date for the entire viewing event (Mercury alone or near to Luna), so have opted for March 11.
Here's the paragraph at spaceweather.com:
Go outside this evening around 6:30 pm; look low and to the west. Can you see a "star" shining through the rosy glow of sunset? That's Mercury. Normally hidden, Mercury will be easy to see every night this week. Pay special attention on Friday, March 11th, when Mercury appears beautifully close to the crescent moon.
