Re: Combined Effects

The best way to warm mars may be by using greenhouse gasses and solar mirrors.  The problem is the incredible amount of gasses needed and the giant size of the mirrors to have enough effect.  If we combined the two we could increase the effect of each.

A greenhouse gas factory could send it's gasses into very large inflatable spheres set into man-made craters arranged in an array around the factory.  The spheres would inflate by from the factories greenhouse gasses, once inflated the greenhouse gasses would be discharged outside.  A large solar mirror in stationary orbit over the factory could direct it's sunlight onto the spheres.  The bottom inside surface of the spheres could have a layer of reflective mylar.  Pipes passing through the sphere's walls would take in carbon dioxide, warm it, then send it out creating local hot spots on mars.
