Re: Looking for help - Little help please

I am currently working on a project and I am looking for any people who would be willing to give me a small amount of help.  The project is to design a spacecraft for a manned mission to Mars and I am looking for anyone willing to give a small amount of time to help me.  I am looking for people with interests in or specialise in;
-Nuclear Power and Nuclear Engineering
-Life Support Systems
-Medical Problems en route

That is all for this stage of the project.  If your willing to give me some aid, please drop me an e-mail at synapse_ares@hotmail.co.uk

I will acknowledge anyone who gives help in the final project report.
I feel this is an oppurtunity for anyone who isn't particularly qualified in any of the areas above, but are genuine mars enthusiasts to aid a Mars Mission Design.

Thanks in advance.

A great deal of work has already been done for Mars Direct and NASA Design Reference, what did you have in mind?

For nuclear systems, the SP-100 power reactor and the NERVA rocket both achieved fairly advanced design states, with the NERVA rockets even being built and test fired.

Re: Looking for help - Little help please

What kind of project are you doing? I and probably many other people here would be glad to offer some assistance, but it depends on how in depth the help needs to be. I'd consider myself well-informed on Mars mission requirements, but I'm no expert, so I'm not sure how much help I could be.

But if all you need are some Mars enthusiasts I'd be glad to help you out.

Re: Looking for help - Little help please

Well, at the minute I am looking mostly for some mars enthusiasts who can help just gather data, help complete final designs (at the minute we are completely a design for a regenerative life support system and an NTR).  So no expertise required really, would be nice though, but not necessary.  We would be happy for anyone willing to lend a hand, join in discussions, etc...None of the makes a load of sense does it...hopefully my idea gets across though.

Re: Looking for help - Little help please

*Hello.  We've had intensive discussions at these message boards for years now.  Probably what you're looking for is already posted.  And of course each poster's name is included, so you have automatic acknowledgement (also, there is a note at the New Mars web site that each post has copyright by the writer of it).

Any and all threads can be looked through via Search (top of page, just right of center), and the folders and sections are well outlined.  Hope this helps.  :up:
