Re: Partial Solar Eclipse

*Sorry for the short notice:

"ECLIPSE! Later today, Oct 13th, the New Moon will glide in front of the sun, producing a partial solar eclipse visible from Japan to Alaska. The event begins at 5:14 p.m. local time in Hawaii and 5:56 p.m. local time in western Alaska. From
those locations the setting sun will appear crescent-shaped."

*For more information and links check http://www.spaceweather.com]http://www.spaceweather.com for today's date.

*Lots of nice images, including at least one shot taken with a hydrogen-alpha filter.

More photos might still be rolling in; spaceweather.com updates throughout the day if need be.
