Re: Very unpatriotic - link

*I'm curious as to how many employees this company has, if they are all in political agreement and if there was consensus agreement as to the wording of the tag.  Doubtful.  If not, then the company purports to speak for all its employees (a Bush supporter in their employ would be more than understandably outraged).

Smacks of appeasement as well, in my opinion.

P.S.:  Yes, it is unpatriotic.  But then there's the "freedom of speech/expression" element.  Still, it's tacky.

::EDIT::  I just recalled a magazine I purchased a few months ago.  In it, an American cartoonist residing in France (long-term), bashing Pres. Bush left and right in an interview.  His comments/attitudes seemed hyperbolic, to be honest; I distinctly got the impression he was resorting to appeasement and kissing up to popular opinion, to stay in favor with friends, business partners and associates there (as if he were trying to convince readers he really doesn't like Bush -- REALLY!!).  Maybe those really are his views regardless of where he's at, but it had a questionable ring to it.  And I don't mean to get off-topic; just wanted to relate it.
