Re: Nuclearspace hacked?

This is a different look from what they had yesterday...

As far as I can tell the sub-pages don't work either.

Anyone know how to contact the site owner and tell them?

Re: Nuclearspace hacked?

Hacked sites tend to leave "graffiti" behind, so I don't think this is a hack. They could've gone over their monthy bandwidth allotment (100gb- not a bad deal, actually, for $9 a month), but it's more likely that there is just some server troubles (perhaps they moved to this host and haven't set it up yet). Don't think NuclearSpace.com is that popular (to have gone over their bandwidth).

Re: Nuclearspace hacked?

Not hacked no. Just what happens when you accept help from a slack webmaster. My name is Wayne Smith. I founded the grassroots movement. Sometimes going under the user title of 'NuclearSpace'. The Nuclear Space Organisation is now at http://www.nuclearspace.org

Terry, a very new guy on the NS scene, grabbed the dot com domain while the rest of us were still talking about how to share control of it. We were a lot more trusting back then. This was before eco-terrorists destroyed the first two boards. I gave Terry 100% in the beginning but now I realise he was only in it for the money. The dot com site is just a commercial news page now. Terry has never tried to foster any kind of community at NS. I don't think he really knows what a movement is. I've abandoned him to his little kingdom now, after he allowed Yales a member of the anti-nuclear brigade to run the message board.

So now, as often happens, we see two camps. For now Terry is working on a nice shiny news page while I try to rebuild the twice fragmented member base. Yales was trying to drown our first message board in hatemail at the time of our first board collapse. Coincidence? Who knows. I do recall 3000 members and the biggest science board at Yahoo being lost with Yales laughing at us.

Anyway, enough politics. If you are interested in designing starships come on over.

Speaking of trusting there is a known hacker by the name of project Orion. This wouldn't be a fake site would it? You wouldn't be trying to steel our cookies would you? Anyway as a precaution I recommend anyone delete there cookies before entering this site and after leaving this site, until we can verify it is the correct site. Josh can you check this guys ip and make sure he is not the same project orion.

Re: Nuclearspace hacked?

Go to hell in a handbasket scumbag. You win. I quit. Decided days ago. I'm sick of banging my head against a wall trying to make the apes of this planet care about whether or not they have a future.

NuclearSpace gets sucked into a black hole in under 7 days. I have better things to do with my time than lock horns with mindless fearmongering tree huggers all my life. This world is probably already dead and we just haven't figured it out yet. Enjoy extinction you losers.

http://www.spaceonion.com

I only ever gave you all what you wanted.

What are you on? Who are you talking to? What did you deliver? If you're serious about Orion why not try to organize a group of people to build one? Launch a city to the stars in one shot that would be cool.

Re: Nuclearspace hacked?

I did.

I built it and they came. But it wasn't enough. The luddites are going to watch us crawl under rocks and die.

http://www.spacedaily.com/news/nuclearspace-03h.html

I find it hard to believe that that many people care about what you did. If you built a usable project Orion that would be pretty cool. But I would think I would of head about it on the news or something. Since the government is not going to pay for the minimization of nuclear bombs too much a usable project Orion would have to be petty big and should get a lot of attention.

No, no, no!

Project Orion, Wayne Smith, and "nuclearspace" are all the same guy.

He is banned from the real nuclearspace.com site for abusive spamming.

The problems Anticarrot was having is due to the admins there having to add increased protection to divert wayne's assaults.

If wayne follows his usual mode of behavior, New Mars is going to be a target.

Wayne got banned (for the 100th time) from space.com again yesterday for abusive spamming. Here, take a look at how pathetic a person can be:

DO NOT click on ANY links in his posts, signature or profile!

WARNING!

All the links are phony re-directs.

Re: Nuclearspace hacked?

Frankly, I don't know who to believe now. If Wayne is legit, so be it.
Perhaps he could contact the folks at www.up-ship.com and find other pro-nuclear advocates there.

Re: Nuclearspace hacked?

Whoa now.  Take your personal fights someplace else.  I think you'll find that her on Mars Society we are smart enough to seperate the wheat from the chaff as it were.  People here are pretty simpathetic to nuclear applications in space, if not to project Orion specificaly.
