Re: Chess game - Euler (W) vs White (B)

She hasn't moved.  big_smile Frigid she is.

Unless Euler is saw soemthing I didn't, you can try and capatilize on this Bill. But then, i may be playing a different board.

Edit: nevermind bill on Bxf6, go for exf6

Re: Chess game - Euler (W) vs White (B)

Somehow in my mind I played Qc8

As well. . . time to downlaod that utility and post boards with my moves. . .  D'oh!

okay

17. . . .  Bxc1

2 pieces for a rook and a pawn? Coulda been worse playing with the wrong setup

I had intended Q(c8) x h3

So you were expecting 16.Nxc6 bxc6 17.e5 dxe5.  I was planning 16.e5 dxe5 17.Nxc6 bxc6.  I think Bxg2 was a mistake, though I may be wrong.

Yeah, after the e5 move, your bishop would have been free to take c6 threatening the rook- but you mighty have ended up on the defensive.

Bxc1?! how is that possible? damn it, not again...

Re: Chess game - Euler (W) vs White (B)

Okay, gotta go for a while.

Hey I hear the boos.  big_smile

Then I need to replay from the start and make sure my board is right. smile

Oh well, I did just trade 2 pieces for a  rook and a pawn, right?

I thought for sure you were going to do e5 bill.

Now you're left flank is open...

I thought for sure you were going to do e5 bill.

One more comment, I am a pawn structure kind of player

e5 gives me a real weak d pawn and a nasty open d file

But I goota go, really. If I don't make some real money AOL will cancel my account and I cannot visit here anymore.

No, because he could play a6 and then I would have to go back.

I was hoping that you would play 21...Nxb3 22.cxb3 Rxc3 "winning" a pawn, when I would be able to play 23.Bh6+!

Nxe5 followed by Qxe5+ was enough to scare me off Nxb3

Bh6 is a better move. Well done!
