What if you made a solar powered particle beam like the one on the 747 to shoot down ballistic missles? Would that propel a spaceship? Also, what if you made a 1 MW solar powered laser to to heat one drop of water in femtosecond bursts at a time and expanded it out the back end of a nozzel. Would this propel a spacecraft?
