We lead off in Post #3 with a report on a surprising discovery .... under exotic circumstances, it appears that energy can be stored faster if you have more molecules available.

There is nothing in the least practical about the research reported here.
What I think makes the research worth noting is the reinforcement it provides for the value of basic research at this level.
