There is a lot to learn about how this forum software works. It helps to check Active frequently, just to see what is going on. Posts in Active drop out of view after 24 hours.
The Search tool works reasonably well. The forum software creates a post for each word that is not on a list of common words. You can use this feature to find posts you create, if you remember to place something unique in the post.
As an example, SpaceNut suggested putting the Julian data format in our calender updates, so you can find the posts that are present for specific Sols in the Martian Years we have tracked. We are currently in Mars Year 38, so you can search for posts that contain J0038001 in Martian Politics and Economy, and you should receive a list of three posts.
If you prepare material for students to read, search terms like that might help find material quickly.
We (Admins) are ** definitely ** interested in ideas to help teachers use this forum more effectively.
