Re: Artificial Intelligence AI

A post about China in the Politics topic led me to reflect upon the likely impact of the race between Elon Musk and the combined engineering community in China to build the first humanoid robot with intelligence at the level of ChatGPT or Gemini.

It occurred to me that humans who might want to participate in the roll-out of humanoid robots have an opportunity to prepare by becoming experts in use of ChatGPT and Gemini and possibly other brands.

We have deep pools of ignorance about AI that exist in the human population.

Occasionally I see what appear to be glimpses of that ignorance in the small population of this forum.  I hope I'm wrong, but we'll see.

On the other hand, this forum does show occasional glimpses of members experimenting with AI.

Re: Artificial Intelligence AI

This post is offered to bring a new article about the future of Artificial Intelligence to newmars.com readers.

https://www.noemamag.com/openai-propose … gence-age/

I just scanned the article and will try to make time to read it later.

The theme I picked up from a quick scan is that the political class on Earth today may not be capable of dealing with the arrival of AI.

The article talks about disruptive changes we humans have endured in the past, such as the Industrial Revolution and later the Digital one.

If a member decides to post please read the article first.
