This topic is available for NewMars members to report links to research on how human (or any Earth life) bodies function, and how that functioning deteriorates with age.
A great deal has been published in this area, so there should be plenty of posts contributed in coming days.
I'll start this topic with a link to a just published (November of 2024) article about research into the role of mitochondria in our bodies, and how those tiny systems deteriorate over time, and how they might be refurbished.
