Tree Rings and Solar Activity
For SpaceNut ... we had several topics about trees, but none about tree rings

The article at the link above goes into considerable detail about the discovery of Carbon 14 dating in tree rings as far back as 14,000 years ago, indicating a massive Solar flare able to wipe out all satellites and most electronics on Earth.
