Black Holes

SpaceNut, I looked for topics with the words black and holes but FluxBB found none...

The topic is inspired by an article about recent research, and in particular, the hypothesis that there might be a population of tiny black holes left over from the Big Bank, that together might account for the missing matter that is of concern based upon observations of the movements of astronomical objects.

The article (and the researchers) make no claims that the hypothesis is proven, but it does suggest directions that researchers might look to see if the hypothesis holds up.

The report at the link below is about observations of the black hole at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, using the James Webb telescope, to observe in two frequency ranges simultaneously. The observing team found that "our" black hole is more active than many that have been observed.
