"He's the one who's visited a one party state that currently has millions of its citizens locked up and being maltreated in horrendous concentration camps."
Do you have a credible source for that news? Or should I have written "please post a link to your incredible source for that truly fake news".
I heard from a Trumpeter that the leader of the Chinese CP personally beheaded 500 million, or was it billion, Chinese who did not not express their deep love for all Chinese government leaders.
You can now post that claim as real news on other discussion boards. Like Trump's twits it does not have to be the truth or verified.

EdwardHeisler,
We don't imprison or execute people for voicing political opinions that differ from your own opinions, anyone else's opinions, nor the opinions of whomever currently runs our government. That is the fundamental difference between a vibrant republic with democratic governance principles as compared to the horror show of totalitarian ideology. Every communist country in history has done that, without exception. The experiment is over. The results are in. The 100 million victims who were killed by communism can't all be wrong. The communist ideology is an object lesson in how to cause needless misery and death and nothing else. The naivety of people who conclude otherwise beggars belief.
Apart from serving as a warning order about what we should never do, there's nothing more that we can learn from communists. Anyone who thinks communism is a great system of governance is a new prospective victim of that abject failure of an ideology. Since we Americans believe in freedom and the pursuit of happiness, we actually allow our people to move to communist countries if they're so inclined. Nobody here will lift a finger to stop them. The opposite is demonstrably not true.
Isn't it amazing that you live in a country where you can write whatever criticisms, valid / invalid / otherwise, that you wish to write about its President and other politicians, yet our Police would actually arrest anyone trying to stop you from doing that?
Our President can huff and puff about whatever someone writes about him that he doesn't like, but that's all he can do. People are routinely imprisoned, tortured, and executed for criticizing the government in communist countries.
There's a place in this world for every bad idea imaginable, to include communism, but America is not that place. America is about exceptionalism, not mediocrity. The only exceptional qualities that communism has ever offered to its victims is an exceptional amount of misery and death. We don't consider those qualities to be exceptional here in America. There's more than enough of all of that without any communism.

Congress returns Monday with House Democrats split over impeaching President Trump while lawmakers of both parties scramble to deliver disaster relief and confront the possibility that Washington might finally get serious about infrastructure. Which really means Trump will take that money for his wall....With the continued responses of no to Democrats that are in search of information to either clear or to cooberate and state that a crime was committed.
Barr for mueller questions and the tax man for the retuirns are not forth coming with going to testify.
The Senator may also attempt to override Trump’s veto of a resolution to end U.S. support for the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen’s civil war.
Then again a GOP in Graham challenges Kushner’s bid to downplay Russia interference which seems so strange to not be the Trump puppet...ah follower.

Are you referring to my link? That's from the German state broadcaster I believe. Here's a BBC link which refers to the one million plus UIghurs being held in concentration camps and subject to maltreatment, brainwashing and torture.

Cohen is one of the few people in Trump’s inner circle to face a serious prison sentence as a result of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the 2016 election. Last year, Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was found guilty of tax fraud and several other financial crimes.
Cohen pleaded guilty to a slew of charges last year, including making illegal hush money payments, which he said was at the direction of Trump, to adult film star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal—two women who claimed to have previously had affairs with Trump. Cohen will begin a three-year sentence on May 6th at a federal prison in upstate New York.
Donald Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen lamented the fact that he is the only one going to prison over campaign finance violations made during the 2016 election, saying that he’s “not the one who slept with the porn star.”
