Re: Space fairing Nations - The ever changing view

Another person in space from Belarus but Russian controlled.

Belarus doesn't have much of a program, the Belarus Space Agency known as National Agency for Space Research was established in 2009 and islosely associated with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusians who have travelled to space in the time of the USSR are Pyotr Klimuk, Vladimir Kovalyonok, and Oleg Novitsky since the break up of the Soviet Union they have worked in Russia, the goverment of Russia is a main provider of services to Belarus and other CIS countries like Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) perhaps an economic trade union that Russians hoped would be like the EU, Commonwealth or NAFTA.

There seems to be confusion in news media reports if she is a Flight 'Attendant' or 'Instructor'

Re: Space fairing Nations - The ever changing view

Thai language in space?

We have a good idea where the USA / NASA ranks at the top, the US Private sector challenging old space, next a growing industry the Chinese, the Russians in decline, the ESA, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, the Canadian Space Agency, the Italian Space Agency, India, Spain, Brazil...but where is Thailand?

it seems they operate their own satellites for a start?

Re: Space fairing Nations - The ever changing view

It would seem China has sent the Pakistani craft to the Moon, they went to hitch a ride on a Chinese Lunar probe.

Pakistan is also seen as a US ally, although it is a jihadi islamic type parliamentary republic with 98% mohammedans, there has been alleged Pakistani support for Osama bin Laden, 13 years ago in Laden was killed by by United States Navy SEALs.
