Now you would think that experiencing British Imperial rule and having a Potato Failure of their own that Ireland would be aware of Famine. How can a nation self sabotage knowing its own history? A cull on Cows would naturally create shortage and interfere with global market price, Ireland is a big exporter of dairy products. On 'Peta' a site that claim to be Green for example you can see headlines about saving the Cow, they say the Cow is killed to make cheese, yogurt, and ice cream, the global leather industry turns their skin into clothes and accessories, such as leather jackets, suede shoes, belts, lots of horror stories told but do they in Peta know you can not get cheese from a Cow by killing it but as a matter of fact you must keep a Cow health, alive and in good comfort for the Cow to regularly give you cheese and other dairy product? Is this type of new 'crazy' coming from the EU or coming from Ireland itself? As a policy it makes about as much sense as a village in Iceland culling and killing all their fish to 'Save the Climate'. US intelligence reports that 50.7% of Ireland's land is permanent pasture.

Former KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov described precisely how this is possible. The KGB called it "Active Measures". You feed people false propaganda, while asserting it's factually correct and valid, for so long that even when they're confronted with a preponderance of evidence that something is factually incorrect or not working as intended, or that they're being attacked, they're so confused by the propaganda-based indoctrination that they don't know what to do about it. I call this "being educated into stupidity".
Some of these people might plausibly have all the relevant information in the world and they could be 10 times as smart as you or I will ever be. The moment the subject matter touches upon an identity-based valuation statement, then purely based upon their own reactions to events or information they've been conditioned to fear or hate, they will also have serious issues accepting objective reality at-odds with their identity, because their identity became involved. Most people can't recognize when they're being indoctrinated or conditioned to respond in a specific way, rather than educated. The military uses this to keep people alive, but most of the time it's used for nefarious purposes. Most people who are absolutely certain of their own core identity-based beliefs would rather die than change. "I'm not who I think I am" is terrifying to most people, and for good reason. That said, be ever so careful which threads you pull on and how hard you pull if you wish to undo the damage done by that indoctrination. Radical changes and rethinking normally doesn't produce desirable outcomes.
This is why I suggested using other methods for electrification and energy storage that still involve the technologies that support the worldview of these cult followers, namely solar thermal, "heat energy batteries", and lower-cost materials. They don't respond well to being told that their beliefs about energy / climate / environment are generally invalid. They don't want to hear that the best course of action most of them can take is to keep doing what we've been doing, with a few small but meaningful tweaks and changes here and there, such as ending planned obsolescence, reverting back to simpler technology, and using simpler methods to achieve the same ends. It's a basic undeniable fact that nothing humanity has ever invented consumed less energy over time. We'll eventually be forced to use more energy-dense nuclear power sources, or huge swaths of humanity will die from lack of energy. Agreement is not required for these statements to be factual and true. I'm agnostic on viable methods and technologies, but I'm not agnostic on results. All worthwhile changes value results over beliefs and ideals.
The green this / that / the other, renewable this / that / the other death cult is exactly what I just called it. Despite how highly they think of themselves, the people teaching this regressive madness are not more intelligent than thou art, few of them actually care about the environment even if some of them are sincere, and they sure as hell don't care about other people. It's a powerfully seductive narcissistic ideology that preys upon the worst fears of ignorant but indoctrinated people in a very cunning way that preempts a number of more sophisticated mental self-defense mechanisms from operating as they should. There's no other explanation for thinking that buying a car powered by batteries is somehow "saving the planet".
People are not the problem, but their wildly irrational thought processes are. When you terrify people, you get bizarre and counter-productive solutions, like thinking something that stores 1 barrel of oil equivalent energy while consuming 100 barrels of oil energy equivalent to make is a "great idea", or killing a quarter million cows to stop cow farts, or similarly ridiculous nonsense. Someone who was rational would think that sounds like complete idiocy, but these people are no longer rational because their core identity is involved. You cannot make logical appeals to someone who is indoctrinated and terrified.

the story is also on msn news, the photo shows part of a rocket with small engines and maybe a green looking printed circuit board. The rocket is small but heavy enough to break a pallet of wood I assume the fishermen used, the rocket and engines seem to have been rusted by sea salt, the pic shows four engines instead of one engine on Virgin's usual rocket.

There is some wild political news coming out but its difficult to know what is real in the war. I hope he gets help with his drug addiction problems, because he has children, but that's about it. I care a lot about whether or not his daddy sold out America to the highest briber. We have evidence that President Biden was selling classified American documents to other countries while he was still a Senator or Vice President. I want to know what he sold, and to whom exactly he sold it. President Trump was impeached the first time for suggesting that any investigation at all take place into what President Biden was selling to foreign nationals.
Kennedy Jr (D) or Trump (R) are the only two men I support even running for President. Nobody else from either party has any business trying to run a country that they don't even care to try to understand. Everyone else is another "I have great ideas" type of person with no care at all as to how what they do affects the average American, nor any concept that what they do helps or hurts America. President Biden doesn't even have any of his own ideas anymore, which means nobody who Americans actually voted for is even running our country at this point. I take no issue with having either of those two men as my President, because I have no questions about where their loyalties lie. They're both basically competent, willing to do the job, and people trust them to do what is right.

There are more Jewish people in politics because they tend to be interested in the law and have higher IQs than some random person you pull off the street. People with high IQ will naturally be more interested in governance, law, and organization. It's always been that simple. That characteristic doesn't have a damn thing to do with the Jewish religion, nor any other religion or lack thereof, and it never has. It's not a conspiracy of anything, either. You can tell yourself stuff like this if it appeals to your sense of pride / fears / hatreds / etc, but repetition of personal belief about someone you dislike or distrust doesn't equate to truth.
Merrick Garland was probably interested in law because his father's side of the family fled the Russian pogroms. Can you fathom why anyone would be interested in the law after their family fled the country they were born in, as a response to the lawlessness that included genocide based upon what your religion happened to be? If so, then maybe you can understand why so many Jewish people come to America, and go on to become doctors or lawyers. Here we value people who can understand the human body or the law or complex machines. Religion is generally not one of the things you get persecuted for here in America, unless you're dealing with our own branches of "old world thinking" that caused America to become a country to begin with. You can never get away from old world thinking completely. There's always some part of it that catches up with you.
If you take some of the smartest people in a cognitive sense, not necessarily an emotional or "big picture" sense (the kind of person that fuses together all the ideas that make society and civilization work, rather than the ones who fixate on some aspect of how things work), then you'll find that most of them think communist principles are somehow egalitarian in nature. The problem with indoctrination is that the indoctrinated conflate indoctrination with education. Many of them don't even know the definitions of the words they use. There are always dimwits who are merely looking for new avenues to control the lives of other people. The most intelligent amongst us know that, for the most part, you don't have to.

Virtually all of the people who think communism is such a great idea, are young and impressionable when this nonsense is taught to them. Many of them are very bright, but they lack the sophisticated mental defenses against indoctrination that only a select few people have, regardless of their level of general intelligence. All skill requires practice and experience. Almost none of them have ever interacted with any real communists or lived under a communist system. The ones who have and still think communism is a great idea are either green-eyed monsters, which adequately explains why the idea is appealing to them (they get to brutalize people), or they run away like scalded dogs with their tails between their legs (because the nature of how communism will be implemented is so shockingly brutal and appallingly callous). It's about the same as the response to childhood abuse. That's the best way I can explain why the idea appeals to so many so many young people that have either been bullied or are bullies.
Communists are always trying to silence their political opponents and take away our ability to defend against the violence they plan to do to us, if ever the opportunity presents itself. We're very familiar with their modus operandi. Nothing new there.
You know what aspect of personality / behavioral traits has no correlation, one way or another, with IQ?
Virtue. Virtue has no relation to IQ whatsoever. You can be as smart as a whip or as dumb as dishwater, but your virtue is in no way tied to how intelligent you. There are virtue-less people who have genius level IQs and ones with IQs below room temperature. IQ measures your ability to perform complex tasks, but would never be a reason why I would value someone more than someone else. If I need you to diffuse a bomb that some evil genius built, then I'm going to need someone with a higher-than-average IQ, but very few tasks in life involve problems like that. Knowing when to get out of your own way, and what your limitations are, is at least equally important.

There are more men in engineering than women, because men, on average are more interested in things. If you select for the people who are the absolute most interested in things, then they're all going to be men. That doesn't make men better than women. There is no humanity without more people. Women don't need any other "super powers". They can just say, "I can create new life", and drop the mic. They don't need to compete with anyone else. Creating new life is not a competition. It needs to be done with forethought and great care.
There are also more men than women in prison because the most aggressive people in society will always be men, not women. That doesn't make men less virtuous than women. Sometimes you need the most violent and angry men on the planet to fight your enemies and win.
There has to be more nuance to life than, "these people eat bagels and those people eat bacon". Okay, but then what?

I personally don't need an account to browse twitter, a lot of it is mirrored so I still have a few back doors where I can go inside and look aroun twitter. I'm not a Trump fan but I thought it was crazy how much people were banned after the Riot and now today, the French of all people get to censor the world's internet.
We are told today don't worry about Elon Musk's new twitter team and the new twitter is better because he is only 'half censoring' not like the previous guy because Jack went Anti-Speech he was bad and eventually he was full censoring. I never really had a 'twitter' I didn't have much time for it but I had made a twitter account many years ago and was immediately banned, I never even got to post a single comment and only for a brief moment got to browse and look around. This was way back in the days of Jack Dorsey I briefly was in a kind of shared commune house, block kind of place. all kinds of workers, some foreign culture, maybe a student, the landlord and modified the housing and I assumed that greedy Landlord guy had bought a single internet connection for everyone so its possible 'twitter' thought I was someone else. Maybe 'Team Dorsey' seen my log-in just naturally assumed I was the same person who previously got banned for offending the Left, the Right or some perverted transsexual weird pride type offense tweet, maybe they offended some foreign government that twitter moderator admin might take offense to. I was not the previous poster but was probably banned for whatever came from that interwebs connection, I never really went back to twitter with an email, never put it on my phone. Years later they kinda opened it up a little more to the public and you could browse around with no login account, that's when I caught the odd science article or some 'breaking news' on twitter. Donald Trump used it as a political platform before he ran for election and was posting like crazy and used it in an effective way to help him win an election vs Hillary Clinton.
I think France has been ready to boil over for years but media would not talk of it and the French government they have tried to cover it up. Perhaps it can happen in parts of Sweden or Britain also and Angela Merkel in her wisdom took over 1 million of these guys, many perhaps mentally damaged from islamic warzones. Trump was absolutely correct with his immigration ban, after the hostage crisis the Leftwing Jimmy Carter did the same and began to limit the entry of islamic Iranian aliens into the United States. There was also a weird trend by news media to run news gossip and political interference in an event just as they did during USA's George Floyd Riots, the media creating gossip, hating Police and pretending the victim is always a total innocent angel to create more 'outrage', the Media in the Western world now constantly whips up mass hysteria so so they can get a successful 5 min headline. I know someone driving around France right now as a 'tourist', what a great time to do tourism! He is the type of guy who doesn't check the news much and was wondering what the heck was going on, he turned the car around and drove in the direction of Germany.

Those of us on the right gave fair warning to Elon Musk that Yaccarino was another petty tyrant. He put her in charge anyway, and naturally, she's doing what all petty tyrants normally do when confronted with ugly reality. Macron is merely another of the radical left's weak-sauce petty tyrants. He's being himself. Why should this surprise anyone? Leftists have skin that's thinner than Miami bikinis, which is the crux of the problem. If someone farts in their general direction, they get offended and want to silence anyone who disagrees with their opinions.
We no longer have news media in America, in case you didn't already know that. We have left / right political opinion media to avert the attention of the peasants from the robber barons, which espouses the divisive yapping points of the people paying their salaries. I quit watching altogether, years ago, and it's one of the best decisions I've made.

Most Americans are wondering why we haven't even attempted peace talks with Russia before tens to low hundreds of millions of people starve to death without Ukrainian food exports, as this war drags on and on, with no clear indication of what constitutes a victory in Ukraine. For my fellow Americans, Russia won't stop at Ukraine. Poland is next on their list, and then we will be fighting another major land war in Europe, like it or not. Russia wants to reacquire all the countries it previously occupied when the Soviet Union still existed. Putin wrote a paper on this, but most of you probably never read it. However, this is not "Putin's war with Ukraine". All the other potential players who the Russians will allow to serve in leadership roles think the same way. The only Russian political dissidents who think otherwise are either in prison or dead. This is the cheapest the war with Russia will ever be.
On top of that bad news, China might attempt to invade Taiwan in the near future. The war with the Chinese CCCP, will be "Pacific War Part 2", because much like the war against Imperial Japan, the Chinese communists cannot be appeased and they're desperate for energy. We kicked off WWII, before the Pearl Harbor attacks, by backing the Japanese into a corner, as it related to their oil supply. FDR fully intended to send a ship to start hostilities with the Japanese, similar to the Gulf of Tonkin incident, and most of you probably never knew about that, either. The US Navy later court-martialed the Captain sent to do that (attempt to provoke the Japanese into firing upon his ship), prior to learning about who authorized him to do it, and then swept the matter under the rug after the Japanese obliged and started WWII for us.
So, for those of you who detest war, I highly suggest you support Ukraine in their struggle against Russia, and that we actively discourage the Chinese from attempting to invade Taiwan or its other neighbors, like Viet Nam, by increasing US military presence, primarily the US Navy, in the South China Sea, to preclude the possibility of any surprise invasion of Taiwan, else your children will be fighting another WWII in the Pacific, this time against the Chinese CCCP. Hopefully said war with China will remain conventional in nature. It will only go nuclear if our President makes the colossal error in judgement of attempting to invade mainland China. The same applies with Russia. So long as we don't invade Russia, they won't be using any nuclear weapons.
Please also note that there are ongoing internal power struggles in Russia. The loss of economic prosperity in China will eventually result in the same thing happening there. All bets are off after that happens. North Korea is not really a factor. Iran may or may not be a factor. If the Chinese become involved in their own Gulf Wars to secure their supply of oil, then that entire region will be more of a mess than it already is. India is a wild card, but they remain heavily pro-Russian. Future life here in America will be shaped by events in Asia and the Middle East, along with half of South America invading through our Southern Border, which is our most pressing immediate problem.
